What You Get With A Membership
Policy Advocacy
Members will receive access to a number of resources designed to increase their organizing and advocacy skills, such as:Please note some of this information may be collected by external parties on our behalf.
- Monthly updates on relevant state & federal farm policy, including timely opportunities to weigh in on policy
- Access to policy experts who can connect them with local legislators and help them better understand the impacts of policy on their farm
- Advocacy toolkits with lawmaker outreach templates and tips for media and advocacy communications
- Opportunities to steer FACE’s policy priorities through regular surveys
Community Building
At its core, FACE is a network of like-minded farmers connecting over humane, pasture-based livestock systems. To facilitate community and relationship-building, members receive access to:
- Virtual and in-person regional meetups and resource sharing
- Quarterly all-network Town Halls featuring expert speakers, network updates and events, and timely policy news
- Support in hosting their own regional gatherings and on-farm events
- A peer-support network of other pasture–based farmers
Trainings & Education
Members will have free access to educational trainings and webinars catered to the specific needs of FACE farmers, including:
- A growing library of educational webinars focused on pasture-based livestock farming (coming soon!)
- Archived advocacy and media trainings to reference at any time (coming soon!)
- Ability to vote on member-only webinar and training topics
Funding & Marketing
Members will receive a variety of support in seeking financial assistance to improve their pasture-based farming practices or help promote the FACE Ag Network, as well as growing the reach of their farm to new customers, including:
- Timely updates and information on relevant farming grants
- Scholarships to cover conference registration fees for members to attend and represent FACE (speaking, tabling, etc.)
- A scoring advantage in their application to FACT’s Fund-a-Farmer grant
- Special consideration for ASPCA grant programs (including the Fund to End Factory Farming and Farm Animal Welfare Research grants)
- Featuring their farm on the ASPCA, FACT, & FACE websites and social media
- Listing their farm on FACT’s Directory of Humane & Pasture-Based Farms
